Job Summary
Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Political Science, Rutgers University-Camden is seeking new lecturers to teach courses in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, Winter 2026, and/or Summer 2026 within the discipline of Political Science. Lecturers will present course material during assigned times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades, and coordinate all other instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities- Teach assigned courses by delivering lectures, leading discussions, and preparing instructional materials.
- Hold regular office hours to provide academic support to students.
- Develop and administer examinations and other assessments.
- Assign grades, maintain accurate record keeping, and handle related administrative tasks.
- Coordinate course requirements, including syllabus development and communication with department staff.
- Minimum of a master’s degree or J.D. in a relevant field;
Ph.D. in Political Science preferred. - Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in political science or related disciplines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student engagement.

Minimum of $2,777 per credit hour. Final salary may be adjusted based on qualifications, experience, departmental needs, market benchmarks, and internal equity.
