Overview

Cambridge House British International School is a British international school in Valencia offering the English National Curriculum. The school serves students aged three to 18, including A-levels and Spanish Baccalaureate options.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic English Teacher to join our extracurricular courses on Saturday.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop activities and teaching materials adapted to the level of the students.
  • Provide dynamic and participatory lessons that promote learning of the English language.
  • Evaluate students' progress through activities, exercises and observations.
  • Adapt teaching methodology according to the individual needs of the group.
  • Foster an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly the progress and needs of the group to the extracurricular coordinator.
  • Manage educational material and ensure its proper use.
  • Requirements
    • Academic background:
      University degree or official certification in English (minimum level C1).
    • Training in language teaching, pedagogy or similar (desirable).
    • Experience:

      Previous experience as an English teacher or in language teaching (minimum 1 year).
    Technical Skills
    • Knowledge of language teaching methodologies.
    • Ability to design educational materials.
