The contractor shall provide simulator support for the following simulator systems:
Legacy, MTC, MCTS, BC3, BCS-F, Sculpt, CBC2, AFSIM, DMO, ASCOT and NGTS. Simulator operators should be able to provide support in all three simulators. The contractor shall ensure simulator operators qualify a contractor-created, Government-approved training program. The contractor shall conduct simulator operator performance evaluations annually. The contractor shall maintain all simulator operator support personnel training records IAW AFI 33322 and AFMAN 33-364 for each simulator operator, detailing individual training and certification.
The contractor shall document simulator operator training currency on equipment, software, and systems.
Training and
Experience:
At least five years of practical experience operating BCFS related mission simulations, OR three years experience as an ABM, Weapons Director or military fighter pilot working with Distributed Mission Operations scheduling and setup of simulation equipment for exercises/training. Three years practical BCC, CRC or BC3 experience as: USAF ABM, 1C5/1C5D, 1A3/1A4/1A4D. Awarded Basic Mission Capable or Combat Mission Ready qualification in a C2 unit within the last 5 years.
Three years practical experience operating military simulation training devices.
Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SAP & SCI clearance
- Provide 13B, 1C5 and 1C5D expertise utilizing current and emerging Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for Theater Air Control System (TACS) and Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2).
- Maintains working knowledge of current TTPs related to air to air, and air to ground operations focused on the C2 mission.
- Research and source various DoD, Joint, and service-specific documents to develop and execute realistic combat scenarios across the entire spectrum of military operations.
- Provide critical role-player inputs during simulations to accurately represent coordination with fighter, attack, bomber, tanker aircraft, as well as unmanned aircraft systems operations, and coordination representing U.S. Army and Navy Air Defense systems.
- Utilize manufacturer/government provided operators manuals to remain proficient on the use of multiple simulator-specific software to create complex scripts that ensure all training objectives are met in accordance with the instructor s desires.
- Participate in Exercise Support briefing (i.e. tactics briefings, intelligence briefings, etc.).
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
