F‑15 Radar Depot System Administrator – Onsite at Robins AFB, Warner Robins, GA. U.S. citizens only; U.S. government security clearance required (DoD Secret).
OverviewLife Cycle Engineering (LCE) is seeking an F‑15 Radar Depot System Administrator responsible for the administration and maintenance of server and workstation hardware, peripherals, and hosted software applications. This role will support operational readiness of key mission systems in a dynamic depot‑level maintenance environment.
Responsibilities- Administer IT systems in a mixed Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, and integration issues in a fast‑paced team setting.
- Manage and maintain virtualized environments.
- Support Windows Server or Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication.
- Work with hardware RAID, encryption tools, and server management utilities.
- Perform data backup and restore activities following best practices.
- Install and configure software applications for end users.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity to maintain required security standards.
- Provide 24x7 support, including occasional work outside normal hours.
- Maintain compliance by partnering with Cybersecurity teams.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals.
- DoDD 8140 / 8570 compliance with a CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent baseline certification.
- Hands‑on experience administering Windows or Linux systems in an enterprise environment, including virtualized environments and troubleshooting hardware/OS issues.
- Experience with enterprise backup and recovery tools, hardware RAID, encryption technologies, and server management utilities.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Advanced degree in a STEM field.
- Experience with virtualization and enterprise backup/recovery tools.
- Experience with workstation deployment, data migration, cloning techniques, and supporting desktop hardware.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, core network services (DC, DNS, DHCP), and incident/service request systems.
