Engineering Technician
K is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to support hands‑on testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and technical operations for C‑130J and C‑130H aircraft systems, including avionics, propulsion, and propeller assemblies (54H60, NP2000, R391). This role works directly with engineers to support system evaluations, modifications, and sustainment activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and equipment setup on C‑130J/H avionics, propulsion, and propeller systems
- Support data collection, technical documentation, and engineering evaluations for T56, AE2100, and propeller systems
- Assist with system installations, prototype builds, wiring harness fabrication, and configuration updates
- Conduct hands‑on work with propeller systems, including blade tracking, vibration checks, and control‑system troubleshooting
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and work environments in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Support engineering teams during ground tests, functional checks, and system validations
- Interpret technical orders, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Technical degree or equivalent military/industry experience
- Experience with C‑130J/H avionics, propulsion, or propeller systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical orders, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
