Location: Robins Air Force Base, GA (Onsite)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support advanced U.S. Air Force weapon system programs at Robins Air Force Base, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission‑critical aerospace and defense programs involving systems integration, airworthiness, lifecycle engineering, configuration management, and system safety.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting DoD programs and applying systems engineering principles throughout the entire system lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Lead systems engineering and integration activities supporting aircraft and weapon system programs.
- Support system architecture, integration, verification, testing, and lifecycle sustainment.
- Perform airworthiness assessments and support certification activities in accordance with USAF standards.
- Participate in risk assessments, safety analyses, and system integrity initiatives.
- Evaluate technical proposals, engineering changes, and design feasibility.
- Support system design reviews, technology maturation, and requirements management.
- Develop and review systems engineering documentation, technical reports, and acquisition documents.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, program offices, contractors, and government stakeholders.
- Support configuration management, interoperability, reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle cost analyses.
- Bachelor's degree (ABET accredited) with 15+ years of engineering experience OR Master's degree with 12+ years of engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years supporting DoD programs.
- Experience with systems engineering, systems integration, aircraft, or weapon systems.
- Knowledge of system lifecycle, configuration management, verification & validation, and risk management.
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- USAF airworthiness or aircraft systems experience.
- Experience supporting acquisition and defense engineering programs.
