The Secure Systems Engineer provides critical support to aircraft programs by embedding cybersecurity directly into the weapon system architecture. This role partners closely with our Cybersecurity Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate security policies and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements into actionable engineering designs. The ideal candidate is an ABET-accredited engineer who blends traditional systems engineering with a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, ensuring that cyber resilience is built into system architecture and avionics from the ground up.
Required:
RMF (Risk Management Framework), NIST 800-53, NIST 800-160, SSP (System Security Plan), Air craft, Risk Assessment Report (RAR), and Program Protection Plan (PPP),
