Event Operations - Iowa Speedway

IOWA SPEEDWAY

Located near Des Moines, Iowa Speedway joined the NASCAR family of tracks in 2013. Known as the “Fastest Short Track on the Planet”, Iowa Speedway plays host to two major race weekends a year, welcoming the ARCA Menards Series and the NTT INDYCAR Series. The track was designed by NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace.

Iowa Speedway is currently seeking seasonal event operations staff to assist with the NASCAR race weekend.

• Check in/check out event staff and ensure appropriate attire and equipment is issued.
• Prepare credential documents leading into the event and execute the disbursement and collection of credentials per company policies on event days.
• Work with promoters to manage the organization and operation of the credential buildings on event weekend.

Qualified candidates must maintain a positive attitude at all times, pay close attention to detail, have general computer skills, remain flexible to fill in where needed, and work in a fast‑paced environment during event weekends.

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Strong communication skills, including written reports.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
• Must be available during August 7 – 9 for the NASCAR race weekend.
