Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist in buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity, mezzanine funds, and strategic buyers.
  • Analyze large volumes of data to prepare an Excel data book, emphasizing quality of earnings, debt and debt‑like, and net working capital analysis.
  • Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies, and challenge target assumptions.
  • Assist and lead sections of due diligence meetings with target management.
  • Create and design tailored reports for key issues such as normalized earnings, financial reporting, networking capital trends, and indebtedness considerations.
  • Communicate due diligence findings confidently, verbally and in written reports.
  • Collaborate and work within teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
  • Develop and strengthen productive working relationships with client personnel.
  • Collaborate with other Elliott Davis team members.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of three years of experience with audit or transaction services.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Current licensed CPA preferred.
  • Big 4, National or large regional firm experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude toward business development.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi‑task).
  • Superior client service focus.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as required.
