• Assume ownership of financial and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across all areas
• Direct the monthly close process, including review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Maintain and enforce balance sheet integrity through comprehensive account review and reconciliation oversight
• Coordinate all aspects of audit preparation and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors through completion
• Develop and manage budgeting cycles, rolling forecasts, and long‑range financial models in close collaboration with the CFO
• Partner with senior leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights that support business strategy and capital allocation decisions
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance and oversight to accounting staff, including direction on close activities and technical accounting matters
• Identify gaps in existing financial processes and implement improvements that enhance visibility, efficiency, and internal controls
• Ensure reporting integrity across multiple operating entities, maintaining consistency and accuracy throughout the consolidation process
• Serve as a key point of contact for external financial relationships, including lenders, investors, and other stakeholders requiring financial communication
• Support the CFO on special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as business needs evolve
• Operate with a high degree of independence, managing competing priorities and delivering results with minimal oversight

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related discipline
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial accounting and leadership experience
• Thorough command of U.S. GAAP and the ability to apply technical accounting standards in a practical business environment
• Demonstrated fluency in balance sheet management and financial statement preparation
• Strong analytical capabilities paired with rigorous attention to detail
• Proven track record of leading and developing accounting and finance teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to executive leadership, ownership groups, auditors, and financial institutions
• Comfort operating within a smaller company environment, handling both high‑level strategy and hands‑on execution as needed

• CPA, MBA, or comparable advanced credential
• Experience with cloud‑based ERP platforms and billing systems in a multi‑entity environment
• Background working within private equity‑backed or similarly structured organizations
