Staff Accountant

Job Description Responsibilities

• Monitor expenses and ensure all receipts are posted timely
• Assist month-end/quarter-end financial reporting package
• Make sure that all receivables, receipts, and payable items are processed and recorded accurately and timely; participate in and monitor collection of receivables; keep inventory information up to date
• Perform and analyze all bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures/policies.
• Support audit processes, preparing internal and external audit schedules as needed and liaising with top management group.
• Reconcile any irregularities in receipt
• Work collaboratively with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

• Accounting or finance degree required. 1+ year Oracle experience preferred
• Two to four years of comparable work experience
• A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Detailed oriented and strong in math
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
• Intermediate or higher excel skill
• Enthusiastic and motivated.
