A Day In the Life as a Lead TellerThe primary role of a Lead Teller (non-exempt, Grade
7) at Mid South Community FCU is to assist members by offering products and services that would improve the members' financial lives. As a Lead Teller, you will be handling financial transactions, resolving members' problems, and answering questions that cover the Mid South spectrum of products and services. You will also process financial transactions, sell monetary instruments, and educate members on the features and benefits of Mid South's products and services.

Additionally, we are looking for a person who is able to effectively balance priorities, while maintaining a level of high professionalism and courtesy to all members.
Experience & Qualifications- Five or more years of similar or related experience.
- History of satisfactory performance and behavior.
- Ability to train other Tellers (on-the-job training).
- Ability to function as backup vault custodian.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex inquiries and issues successfully.
- A high school education or GED.
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
The Lead Teller position is a full-time role, working typically 40 hours weekly. There is a Saturday morning rotation for each person in the branch. For this rotation, one person in the branch would be scheduled to work during the branch's open hours of 9 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, and would work a half-day during that week prior.
Starting Pay$18.92 – $23.65 per hour.
