The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Allowance and Authorization Officer with the responsibility for exercising full technical and administrative controls over the Table of Allowances authorized this organization; serves as the Vehicle Control Officer for a fleet in excess of 44 appropriated fund (APF) and non-appropriated fund (NAF) vehicles, and the point of contact for the Force Support Squadron for all issues related to hazardous material and hazardous waste.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship
Obtain & maintain a Security clearance
Must have a driver's license as both on base and local area travel is required.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of appropriate laws and regulations governing procurement of maintenance, supplies, and equipment to develop overall policies, plans and procedures for logistics administration.

Knowledge of base supply system which includes funding procedures/requirements.

Knowledge of commonly used accounting, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes and computer systems.

Knowledge of communication techniques, principles, and regulations to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of automated data processing concepts and systems capabilities to accomplish tasks.

Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines. Ability to interpret source documents and reports to determine status of material requirements.
