This large inpatient facility operates as a comprehensive mental health institution providing specialized care for adults requiring forensic psychiatric services. The facility maintains established protocols for psychological evaluation and therapeutic intervention within a secure environment. The institution utilizes an electronic medical record system for clinical documentation and care coordination. Credentialing for this position takes approximately two weeks to complete.

The clinician will provide comprehensive psychological services to adult patients in a forensic inpatient unit Monday through Friday during full-time day shifts totaling 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include conducting individual therapy sessions for patients with diagnoses including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, substance abuse issues, and personality issues. The position requires maintaining accurate clinical documentation using the EMR system and adhering to established protocols for mental health care delivery within the forensic setting.

The clinician will manage a therapeutic caseload while collaborating with facility staff to ensure coordinated care for the adult population with no call requirements.
