Job Summary:

The DoD International AIMS Program Office (DoD AIMS PO) is responsible for the testing and evaluation of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems, ensuring interoperability for all DoD, NATO, and coalition partner weapons systems. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Avionics Engineering Division (AFLCMC/EZA) provides avionics systems engineering leadership and technical support to program offices to design, develop, manufacture, integrate, test, and deploy weapon systems.

The K  team provides support to DoD AIMS PO, facilitating the testing and evaluation of all IFF and Mark XIIB systems/subsystems. The K  team is primarily located at the DoD AIMS PO at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), Georgia. The incumbent of this position will function as an integral DoD AIMS PO Database Developer and Web Designer responsible for developing and maintaining a classified address assignment database.

The incumbent will work within the development team supporting environments in cloud-based database applications (Mongo

DB preferred). As a Database Developer and Web Designer, you will evaluate customer requirements, address complex technical challenges in cloud-native development environments, manage the full application lifecycle from initial deployment through ongoing maintenance, and be able to define, generate, and review project requirements while providing detailed documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud-native database applications, including infrastructure security and management.

You must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fluid environment with direct stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with DoD 5000.02 acquisition policies and processes is preferred, but not required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain a cloud-native database in a classified DoD environment used for tracking and assignment measures.

* Lead or support initial application deployment and infrastructure spin-up activities, including environment configuration and security hardening.

* Assist the government customer in developing milestone schedules, integrating multiple development stages, performing schedule risk analysis, building projections of schedule outcomes, and developing reports or presentations.

* Work within a cross-functional team to integrate development activities into achievable project milestones.

* Communicate findings to management and stakeholders through briefings, written reports, and verbal presentations.

* Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.

* Define, generate, and review project requirements with detailed technical documentation.

* Implement and maintain database security protocols, backup procedures, and disaster recovery processes. Work Environment:

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related technical field. In lieu of degree, four (8) years of related professional experience is required

* 2+ years of backend development experience with JavaScript/Node.js

* 2+ years of experience with Mongo

DB or other No

SQL databases

* Experience with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgre

SQL)

* Possess or obtain IAT Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, CySA+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, CND, or GICSP) within 12 months of employment start date

* Proficiency with Git version control

* Experience with front-end technologies:
React, HTML, CSS

* Strong understanding of database architecture, design patterns, and optimization

* Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work directly with stakeholders.

* Must possess a Secret security clearance or higher. Desired

Qualifications:

* Experience with greenfield application deployment and initial infrastructure spin-up (standing up new applications from scratch)

* Experience with Continuous Monitoring and Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes
