Senior Database Engineer

Overview

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to work in our Warner Robins, GA office. The candidate must hold and maintain a valid Top Secret/SCI clearance and be capable of effective written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment. The role involves product sustainment, product development, lab support, and engineering services in support of the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS) development and support, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance software, and Mission Support (MS) business lines at Robins Air Force Base, GA.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position requires the ability to work with minimal assistance from junior staff.

• Minimum 8 years of experience with database design and administration.
• Experience with data analysis, database design, development activities, database migrations, and instantiation of databases.
• Experience in managing compliance to database administration procedures, standards, and guidelines. Knowledge of centralized data repositories. Proficient in SQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, or similar database languages.
• Experience with data diodes and data replications across classifications or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with database architecture and implementations leveraging cloud technologies, including AWS or MS Azure.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, guiding junior staff as needed.

• 5+ years’ experience working on DoD programs is highly desired.
• Interest in new technologies and the ability to adapt to them.
• Possess and apply expert knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of database engineering.
