Job Description

The candidate will work with HPE’s channel partner ecosystem to develop and mature new business around HPE’s Microsoft Azure Local solution as well as other joint Microsoft offerings. Working closely with Microsoft and HPE’s Worldwide Microsoft Alliances team, the role builds and matures a pipeline around joint HPE/Microsoft solutions with both HPE field sellers and select channel partners.

The incumbent will drive Azure local adoption and growth through technical demand generation and pipeline ownership, positioning the Azure Local solution with HPE field sellers and partners to enhance knowledge and drive adoption.

Preferred qualifications include a strong knowledge of the IT Data Center infrastructure sales cycle, experience in the IT virtualization market, and technical knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Location and Travel

Open to locations outside those listed on the requisition for qualified U.S. citizen or Green Card holders located within the continental United States. Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to visit partners and customers within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive adoption of the HPE-based Azure Local solution and assist with overall North America Microsoft sell‑thru activities.
  • Manage co‑selling activities with Microsoft in both direct sales and indirect channel GTM motions.
  • Coordinate with HPE Direct, Channel, and Digital sellers to generate demand for HPE’s Azure Local solution.
  • Manage and coordinate North America business development and enablement campaigns in conjunction with the Worldwide Microsoft Alliances team.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of sales, pre‑sales, business development, or project delivery experience of IT Infrastructure deployments.
  • Referenceable ability to generate demand for on‑premise IT Data Center business including virtualization and application consumption services.
  • Ability to have early technical conversations around the solution with customers/partners exploring virtualization options and drive key differentiators of the HPE/Microsoft Azure Local solution.
  • Ability to create, manage, and coordinate sales campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related fields.
  • Experience with sell‑through business especially with partners/distributors.
  • Previous experience selling or deploying Microsoft Azure highly desired.
Knowledge And Skills
  • Experience with IT Data Center compute hardware, software, services.
  • Understanding of the IT Data Center market buying cycles and players in North America (on‑prem, hybrid, cloud).
  • Understanding of x86 CPU technologies.
  • Ability to drive results without supervisory oversight.

Salary Range

Annual salary USD 119,500‑275,000 in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, and Virginia. The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
