What will you be doing as a Senior Sales Executive (Federal) at Sim Space?

As a Senior Sales Executive (Federal) at Sim Space, you will lead new business development across U.S. Federal civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies. Your focus will be identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities where agencies will leverage the Sim Space platform to improve cyber readiness through individual & team training, evaluate and tune security tools and build, train & validate AI agents in complex, real-world environments.

This is a quota-carrying role responsible for building pipeline, navigating federal procurement processes, and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. You will work cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering to drive deal strategy and execution.

You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

What Success Looks Like
  • Build and execute a federal sales strategy across a defined set of agencies or accounts

  • Develop and close net-new business opportunities within U.S. Federal organizations

  • Navigate complex procurement pathways and multi-stakeholder buying processes

  • Establish trusted relationships with technical, program, and contracting stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting discipline

  • Consistently meet or exceed quota targets

Who you are
  • You have a track record of closing new business within U.S. Federal agencies, specifically in cybersecurity, defense, or AI-driven technologies

  • You understand federal procurement pathways (e.g., IDIQs, OTAs, SBIR, prime/sub relationships) and how to navigate them

  • You have existing relationships and have a successful track record with large and small Federal/Defense Contractors

  • You’ve built relationships with key stakeholders across technical teams, program leadership, and contracting offices

  • You can independently develop and execute account strategies across a defined territory or set of agencies

  • You are comfortable selling complex, technical solutions and partnering closely with solution architects and engineering teams

  • You run a disciplined sales process, including pipeline development, forecasting, and deal execution using Value Based Selling sales frameworks.

  • You operate with a high degree of ownership and thrive in fast-moving, growth-stage environments
