In Epic consulting at PwC, you will specialise in providing consulting services for Epic software solutions. Your work will involve possessing in-depth knowledge of Epic applications and assisting clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

The Epic Experienced Associate supports the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of assigned Epic applications. This role partners with operational stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and IT teams to gather requirements, improve workflows, and support system enhancements. The Epic Experienced Associate contributes to application build and maintenance activities, participates in project work, supports upgrades, and helps ensure system reliability and user adoption.
This is a professional individual contributor role working under general supervision, with increasing responsibility for independent work.
- Participate in needs assessments and gather business/clinical requirements
- Assist in designing and configuring Epic workflows aligned to operational needs
- Collaborate with SMEs to improve workflow efficiency and resolve system issues
- Support functional and integrated testing, including test script development
- Assist in user access/security configuration under established governance
- Support migration of build to production environments
- Develop working knowledge of assigned clinical or business operations
- Partner with operational teams to support workflow design and system enhancements
- Participate in meetings to provide application expertise and support
- Perform unit testing of all built components and assist other application analysts as needed
- Perform functional and integrated testing of software to ensure that design objectives are met, including development and validation of testing scripts
- Support and troubleshoot interfaces for inbound/outbound transaction errors; help monitor interface error queues
- Troubleshoot application issues, with or without vendor assistance, to resolution
