Position Summary:
Southeastern Container, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Security & Support Manager to lead cybersecurity and end-user support across a multi-site manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for protecting enterprise systems, managing security operations, and ensuring reliable, high-quality IT service delivery. You will serve as a key liaison across IT, partnering with infrastructure, applications, and external vendors to maintain a secure and resilient environment.
Job Description:
1. Provide operational oversight of IT support functions and service management processes.
2. Develop, implement, and continuously improve SEC’s cybersecurity program aligned to CIS Controls and NIST frameworks
3. Lead vulnerability management, threat monitoring, and incident response activities across the enterprise
4. Serve as incident commander for cybersecurity events, ensuring timely containment, remediation, and documentation
5. Manage and optimize security technologies, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, email security, and identity protection platforms
6. Coordinate with external security partners, SOC providers, auditors, and insurance stakeholders
7. Maintain and test incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
8. Direct and manage user security awareness programs and training initiatives
9. Lead and improve IT support operations, including Help Desk performance and service delivery
10. Establish and maintain ITIL-aligned processes, including incident, request, and problem management
11. Define and monitor service performance metrics, including SLAs, KPIs, and user satisfaction
12. Drive continuous improvement of end-user experience and support efficiency
13. Maintain working knowledge of enterprise systems, including networking, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and business applications
14. Collaborate with IT Operations and Development teams to advise risk levels, ensure secure architecture and operational alignment
15. Support secure design principles across manufacturing environments, including network segmentation and Purdue Model concepts
16. Partner with ERP and enterprise system initiatives to ensure secure architecture, identity integration, and compliance alignment
17. Lead and develop cybersecurity and support staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
18. Acquire and manage the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk.
19. Track audit findings and recommendations to ensure that appropriate mitigation actions are taken.

Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; advanced degree preferred7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or IT operations
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives
Strong knowledge of security frameworks (CIS Controls, NIST) and security operations practices
Experience with security technologies (SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, vulnerability management)
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud security principles
Familiarity with ITIL service management and support operations
Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments preferred
Exposure to ERP platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365) and secure system integration concepts
Strong leadership, ability to communicate, and apply decision-making skills, including incident leadership under pressure
Experience working with external vendors, MSPs, and cybersecurity partners
Authorized to work in the United States
