The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a planner responsible for cradle to grave supply chain management and support to worldwide customers for an assigned complex/critical group of contract, inter-service, organic and dual repaired items and sub-components. Accomplished by performing independent functions necessary by completing the planning, execution and distribution of assigned items. Serves as project lead/manager, conducting organizational and process related studies and analysis of organizations, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, resource allocation and efficiency, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, and resource allocation.
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships.
The 448 SCMW Centralized Requirements Cell provides centralized requirements determination and management within ESCAPE for the entire 448 SCMW. Through standardized processes and expert analysis, the cell ensures accurate and timely demand signals, enabling effective supply planning and optimized materiel availability for all supported units.
