The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a planner responsible for cradle to grave supply chain management and support to worldwide customers for an assigned complex/critical group of contract, inter‑service, organic and dual repaired items and sub‑components. Accomplished by performing independent functions necessary by completing the planning, execution and distribution of assigned items. Participates in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and developing equipment performance specialized information systems and components.

Assist and participate in the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics workforce management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Participates in special logistics workforce related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships.

The 448 SCMW Centralized Requirements Cell provides centralized requirements determination and management within ESCAPE for the entire 448 SCMW. Through standardized processes and expert analysis, the cell ensures accurate and timely demand signals, enabling effective supply planning and optimized material availability for all supported units.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Obtain & maintain a Security clearance (if applicable).
• No PCS expenses will be paid.
• Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station approximately 5 days per year.
• May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.

• Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
• Knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
• Knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance‑based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
• Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
• Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
