The Regional Lead is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting Future Plans’ work within an assigned geographic region. This position provides day‑to‑day leadership for the regional team, including Community Outreach Partners and Adult Career Mentor(s), and ensures that regional outreach, partnership development, participant support, workforce alignment, and service delivery are coordinated and aligned with Future Plans’ mission, model, and strategic priorities.
The Regional Lead serves as the primary regional leader responsible for translating Future Plans’ organizational priorities into coordinated regional action. This includes supporting strong community partnerships, ensuring effective collaboration across regional team members, identifying regional needs and opportunities, monitoring progress, and helping remove barriers that may impact implementation.
This role works collaboratively with program and workforce leadership, including Adult and Transitional Programs, Youth Programming, and Workforce and Economic Development, to ensure regional activities are aligned, coordinated, and responsive to participant, partner, employer, and community needs.
The Regional Lead is responsible for ensuring that the regional team operates with clarity, coordination, accountability, and shared understanding of roles. While Community Outreach Partners focus on outreach, partnership development, referral pathways, and regional intelligence, and Adult Career Mentor(s) provide direct coaching and support to adult participants, the Regional Lead ensures these functions are aligned, connected, and advancing regional goals.
Key Responsibilities Regional Leadership and Team Management- Lead and support the regional team, including Community Outreach Partners and Adult Career Mentor(s), to ensure coordinated implementation of Future Plans’ work within the assigned region.
- Provide supervision, guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to assigned regional team members.
- Establish clear expectations, priorities, and goals for regional team members in alignment with Future Plans’ organizational priorities and regional needs.
- Support team members in understanding their roles, responsibilities, and points of collaboration to reduce duplication and strengthen coordination.
- Facilitate regular regional team meetings, check‑ins, and planning conversations to support communication, alignment, problem‑solving, and accountability.
- Identify team support needs, training needs, capacity concerns, and implementation barriers, and elevate issues to the appropriate internal leaders when needed.
- Foster a team culture grounded in collaboration, professionalism, accountability, trust, and commitment to Future Plans’ mission.
- Lead regional planning and implementation efforts to ensure Future Plans’ services, partnerships, and priorities are responsive to the needs of the assigned region.
- Translate organizational goals into clear regional priorities, work plans, and action steps.
- Monitor regional progress and help ensure that outreach, partnership development, adult career mentoring, school engagement, employer engagement, and workforce alignment efforts are connected.
- Ensure regional initiatives are aligned with Future Plans’ mission, strategic priorities, and five‑step process.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen regional systems, improve implementation, and expand access to career pathway supports for youth, adults, and transitional populations.
- Support regional problem‑solving when barriers arise related to partnerships, service delivery, communication, staffing, or implementation.
- Collaborate with program and workforce leadership to ensure regional implementation is aligned with adult, transitional, youth, and workforce/economic development priorities.
- Share regional insights, partner feedback, service gaps, participant needs, employer needs, workforce trends, and implementation barriers with appropriate internal leaders.
