Compensation: $100,920 - $112,130

Position Overview

Tessera is seeking a Site Manager for the Warner Robins, GA location. The Tessera Robins AFB Operations Manager leads a diverse workforce of technicians and professionals engaged in vehicle maintenance activities, supply part purchasing and tracking, and logistical support activities that directly support the Robins AFB mission. This role serves as the sole on‑site leader and primary point of contact for all government representatives, including the on‑site Contracting Officer’s Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the site team, including subcontractors, to deliver outstanding customer results both functionally and contractually; serve as the central point of contact with the customer for performance of all work under the contract.
  • Lead customer engagement and communications; leverage the full team to maintain performance excellence and solve tough problems in partnership with the customer; continuously pulse customer stakeholders for improvement input and understand customer culture and mission.
  • Support Tessera's mission of Providing Opportunities for People with Disabilities by partnering with recruiters, vocational specialists, HR partners and Workforce Development teams to attract, retain and develop a diverse workforce.
  • Drive a world‑class safety management system and safety culture through leadership engagement, safety risk management, safety assurance and safety training and promotion; model positive safety leadership behaviors.
  • Maintain strong employee relations; build morale, communicate, provide feedback and resolve conflicts; collaborate closely with human resources and vocational staff; own employee relations tools and processes.
  • Mentor, motivate and inspire the leadership team, functional teams and employees to operate with a "can do, will do" attitude.
  • Improve technician and support staff knowledge, skills and abilities through targeted recruiting, formal and on‑the‑job training, coaching and performance feedback; support staff in utilizing Tessera's tuition assistance program for skills training and certification programs.
  • Develop strategic vision for the site and contract and convert this strategy into action through disciplined planning and project management.
  • Focus on continual process improvement and combat operational complacency.
  • Financial management: understand profit and loss drivers, seek judicious use of resources, preserve and improve the bottom line.
  • Contract management: understand full contract requirements, assign responsibilities, brief external and internal customers and resolve issues.
  • Operational excellence: leverage the leadership team to drive superior performance results, including capacity, on‑time completion, backlog, quality and customer ratings.
