- Decatur, GA (ADM) Job Requisition Number of Openings: 1 Shift: Day (United States of America) Compensation Details: $56,310.72 - $73,677.24
POSITION SUMMARY The Contracts Manager, under broad supervision, works with the Procurement and Contracts Deputy Director to support the coordination of contract services.
Responsibilities and Duties- Responsible for the development and coordination of the contracting process in compliance with State Code and DOAS regulations.
- Provides guidance in the development, negotiation, and evaluation of contracts.
- Review and approve routing of contracts, amendments, and renewals for Direct Services, MOUs, and MOAs.
- Interviews, hires, directs, trains, evaluates the performance of, and when necessary, disciplines and discharges employees.
- Examines plans and verifies that project data complies with specifications and established procedures.
- Responsible for periodic audits of contractual requirements and payments.
- Ensures Contract Staff work in cooperation with the Program Staff to add funds in Team Works for the approval of Requisition s. and Purchase Orders
- Responsible for setting the tone for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of professional job experience in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management, which includes two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role. Or two (2) years of experience at the lower-level Purchasing Agent Spv (FET
043) or position equivalent.
- 2+ years contracting experience in the public sector.
- 2+ years public procurement and strategic sourcing
- 2+ years Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software experience i.e Peoplesoft, Workday
- Georgia Certified Purchasing Manager (GCPM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Share Point
