Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Material Handler in Warner Robins, GA for a 5 month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role loads, unloads, conveys, sorts, and stages materials within or near a plant, yard, or work site under specific direction. The position supports shipping, receiving, inventory, bench stock replenishment, and material movement at Robins Air Force Base.
Required Skills
Experience loading, unloading, and conveying materials
Experience using hand tools to open containers
Ability to count and weigh materials and record information accurately
Ability to load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand
Experience sorting and placing material into designated locations
Ability to use a Windows tablet for inventory tasks
Ability to use handheld tablets and scanners for material ordering or replenishment
Ability to convey materials using carts, hand trucks, or other devices
Ability to stack or assemble materials under specific direction
What You’ll Do
Load, unload, and convey materials within or near a plant, yard, or work site
Perform shipping and receiving support tasks as needed
Open containers using hand tools
Count and weigh materials and record information
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand
Sort and place material into designated Bench Stock Locations
Perform inventory using a Windows tablet
Convey materials using carts, hand trucks, or other devices
Stack or assemble materials
Order material for bin replenishment using a handheld tablet and scanner
Work Schedule / Shift
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
