As an integral member of our communications team, the Digital Communications Specialist plays a key role in shaping our narrative. This position encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, from crafting compelling digital stories and managing our social media presence to overseeing our website content. You will engage in both internal and external communications, enhancing our brand through innovative marketing and promotional strategies.
Your skills in photography and videography will bring our stories to life, while your expertise in managing print collateral and planning events will ensure our message resonates across all platforms. This role is perfect for a creative and proactive communicator eager to make a significant impact.
- Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in graphic design, communications, and website design
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint
- Background Clearance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Print and graphic design experienced preferred
- Photography and/or videography experience
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in digital marketing, journalism, or communications
Required to perform single, technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment including design software applications; video editing; working with a cloud storage system; preparing and maintaining accurate records; applying job-related codes, regulations, and laws;
performing standard bookkeeping; planning and managing projects; screening telephone calls; and proofreading.

event planning; and social media.
Required to schedule activities, meetings, and/or events; gather and/or collate data; and use basic, job-related equipment.
