As a ICU Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled team that’s deeply committed to this unique population, you’ll restore comfort and healing – caring for patients like family and improving lives every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey.
- Performing expert procedures and medication administration – including pain relief and fluid therapy – delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort.
- Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions.
- Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of GA or Compact Multistate.
- At least 1 year of RN experience preferred; 6 months experience required.
- Must be willing to commit to a minimum of 8 shifts per month.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
