Job Description
One of the major healthcare organizations in Gainesville, GA, is looking to hire a full time Med Surg
- Oncology / Hospice RN. This unit is a 25 bed nursing unit. It is a designated oncology, hospice, end-of-life care, and other medical patients in high census times. You will work in a Team Based Nursing Environment. You must be team oriented. Care is provided for a wide variety of illnesses, including but not limited to:
- Chemotherapy
- Blood transfusions post chemotherapy
- Hospice and end-of-life care
- Ulcerative colitis
- Liver cirrhosis
- Gastrointestinal hemorrhage
- Abdominal pain (non-surgical), N/V, D, Gastritis
- Cholecystic
Qualifications:
- Licensure or other certifications:
Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia. - Educational Requirements:
BSN - Minimum Experience:
At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire - RN, BLS
- Soft skills are the biggest thing for this manager
- Coachable, listens well, values quality work and quality care, articulate
