American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 18 months of multi-specialty surgical experience and call coverage.

• Operating Room unit running up to 5 rooms during the day, reducing to 1 room after 1900 with on-call coverage
• Cases include General, Gyn, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, Minor Vascular, and GI
• Shifts vary and may include five 8s ), four 10s ), or three 12s )
• Call coverage required, scheduled over an 8-week cycle requiring 6-8 weekdays and 2 weekend days of call
• Floating to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, required based on need

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent OR experience required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed per contract
