Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a long-term night shift assignment requiring 18 months of ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

• Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with ventilator management and IV insertion required
• PICC line experience required
• Meditech charting experience required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at start

• ICU unit (4W ICU) setting
• Night shift (NOC), 4x12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Meditech charting system
• Required to float to other departments across all facilities, including Perry Hospital, based on department rotation
• Interview process includes Nurse Manager interviews
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Former Emory or Houston Healthcare permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
