PositionWe currently have one open postdoctoral position.
Program DescriptionThe Park laboratory is committed to investigating the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and tissue regeneration, with a specific focus on WNT signaling and cell plasticity. Our research utilizes genetically engineered organoids, mouse models, patient samples, as well as single-cell and spatial transcriptomics. Candidates are expected to possess expertise in cancer biology, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, developmental biology, or related fields.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop expertise in advanced techniques of single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, genetically engineered organoids, and animal models. As postdoctoral fellows, they will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and broaden their knowledge. By the conclusion of the fellowship, candidates will have gained comprehensive skills in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication, thereby positioning themselves for a successful transition to independent scientists.
To date, six postdoctoral trainees from the Park laboratory have become tenure-track faculty members.
Applicants are required to possess a PhD (or be a PhD candidate) or an equivalent doctoral qualification. This opportunity aims to prepare individuals to become independent scientists in academia or industry.
