Enterprise Sales Executive - AI-Powered Legacy Application Migration - Northeast

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

This role is open to candidates currently residing in or willing to self-relocate to the Mid-Atlantic or Northeast United States (Virginia or north).

This role is presented by Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP) with GAPVelocity AI, the AI-first modernization business unit focusing on transforming legacy applications through AI-driven migration and modernization solutions.

Mission:
Grow GAPVelocity AI revenue by selling transformative AI-driven migration solutions and GAP Engineering services to enterprise decision-makers, using a consultative, strategic approach.

Role and responsibilities
  • Execute a consultative sales approach, articulating the strategic value of GAPVelocity AI's AI-driven migration solutions.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, contributing to GAPVelocity AI's growth trajectory.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities, engaging senior decision-makers to secure budget approval and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Solution Architects, Delivery Manager, Engineering, Marketing) to provide seamless client experiences and expand account revenue.
  • Champion and sell GAP's broader portfolio to existing and new clients, maximizing revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling.
What we are looking for
  • Proven track record (10+ years) in consultative enterprise sales, ideally selling technology services, modernization, or AI-driven solutions.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate complex organizations and influence key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Professional courage to move beyond the technical scout to authority.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Collaborative mindset with effective communication and persuasion skills to influence internally and with clients.
  • Experience moving from fixed-price selling to solution-oriented, consultative engagements.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, accountability, and adaptability in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Mastery of BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) to inform selling strategy and forecasted pipeline.
  • Meticulous updating and tracking of the sales pipeline and activities using sales and marketing tools.
