Regional Pro Specialist
Responsible for accelerating Pro-segment growth across big‑box retail, including Lowe’s and The Home Depot, for Larson, Fiberon, and Therma‑Tru brands. This role serves as the regional PRO expert for the Outdoors B2C (Retail) Business Unit—building strategic partnerships, generating high‑value Pro opportunities, and executing field initiatives that increase revenue, loyalty, and project penetration.
Location & TravelField‑based role requiring travel throughout the Southeast Sales Region
—Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. Up to 75 % travel, including both driving and air travel.
$80,000 – $100,000 plus annual sales incentive and other opportunities for performance‑based contests and bonuses.
Responsibilities- Capture a targeted share of addressable business within the assigned region.
- Implement Pro‑focused programs and promotional initiatives within the retail environment.
- Promote the full product portfolio across Lowe’s, Home Depot, and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with Retail Channel Outside Sellers monthly to align on active projects, upcoming opportunities, and Pro promotions.
- Become the regional expert in high‑level blueprint reading and full project takeoff execution.
- Host region‑wide Pro events to deliver enhanced product training to retail and distribution partners.
- Conduct on‑site job visits to support project planning, technical troubleshooting, and accuracy validation.
- Manage large, multi‑phase, high‑value Pro projects to ensure seamless execution from quote to fulfillment.
- Support smooth order transactions and timely delivery.
- Drive loyalty and repeat purchases through Pro rebate contracts and long‑term relationships with complex Pro accounts.
- 3–5 years of experience in field sales, business development, or channel management within the building materials, construction, or adjacent industry.
- Must reside within the assigned territory and be comfortable with high‑travel expectations (up to 75 %) including frequent driving and air travel.
- Direct experience working within the retail environment (The Home Depot and/or Lowe’s).
- Proven hunter mentality with a track record of identifying new opportunities and growing business independently across a multi‑state territory.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with the ability to build credibility with retail partners, contractors, builders, and purchasing managers.
- Confident communicator in both group settings (product training, presentations) and one‑on‑one job site conversations involving product specs and installation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Background in doors, decking, or adjacent millwork building products categories.
- Experience working with Pro customers (e.g., builders, remodelers, contractors, or trade professionals).
- Experience working with any CRM platforms (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar).
