Position Summary
Guggenheim is seeking an established and successful sales professional with strong relationships in the broker‑dealer and IBD space. The Regional Vice President will support and grow Guggenheim’s UIT business to financial intermediaries, reporting to the Head of UIT Sales. The candidate will work remotely within the designated territory of Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Northern Florida.
ResponsibilitiesThe RVP will perform as part of a sales team, which includes an internal wholesaling partner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead sales effort with financial intermediaries in the defined territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries to generate assets.
- Educate financial advisors on the benefits of Guggenheim products and services through presentations, conference calls, branch visits, seminars, conferences, or training sessions.
- Develop and implement territory business plans to deliver on assigned sales goals.
- Maintain activity and profile data within the CRM.
- Keep current and adhere to compliance and regulatory policies specific to licensing requirements, continuing education, and firm‑mandated training (FINRA Series7 and
63). - Stay current on the company’s products, initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
- Manage expense account and allotted budget, filing expense reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the internal wholesaler to deliver sales goals by fostering leads generated from referrals, digital ad campaigns, and cold calls.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Finance or Business).
- Current FINRA Registrations (Series7,63,65, and/or66).
- Must reside in the corresponding geographic territory.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Energetic, self‑motivated, positive, goal‑oriented.
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
- High degree of integrity and willingness to prepare relentlessly and execute passionately.
- Strong relationship‑building skills focused on clients.
- Technical/computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with investment strategies and concepts.
