We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of technical and mechanical tasks to ensure our community meets our standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Complete work orders generated by residents for regular maintenance of residential apartment homes and other areas on the property to include building exteriors, building interiors and common areas.
  • Perform HVAC, small appliance, plumbing, electrical and other repairs in residential loft apartments and other areas on the property.
  • Be on a rotating schedule of being available for emergency calls and respond according to the company’s policy on after‑hour emergency calls.
  • Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Diagnose the source or cause of the defect or problem and make proper repairs.
  • Complete the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and new move‑ins by completing the pre‑move‑out inspection, creating a “punch” list of maintenance work needed, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining required supplies and materials, completing all maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work.
Maintenance Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of multifamily facilities/apartment maintenance (property management).
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
  • Strong HVAC knowledge and experience preferred.
  • EPA certification preferred.
  • Possession of personal tools, required.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with adequate car insurance.
  • Able to push, pull and lift over 50 lbs.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have proper tools, meters, gauges and power tools required for all trades.
  • Must be available for weekend, holiday and evening work as needed.
  • Travel and overnight stays are limited but may be required.
  • Must always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Education And Experience
  • High school diploma required and professional knowledge of all trades/maintenance disciplines.
  • Universal type EPA Certification preferred.
  • Swimming Pool Certification preferred.
  • College degree and/or certifications are a plus.
