Canfor is seeking experienced Electricians to join their highly automated sawmill team in Moultrie, Georgia. These professionals will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in a fast‑paced plant environment. The ideal candidates are self‑motivated, safety‑focused, and have strong technical skills in industrial electrical systems and PLC programming.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a sawmill or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in various weather conditions
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical principles and mill processes
- Ability to work effectively in a team and abide by company policies
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols
- Ability to pass screening processes such as behavioral assessments, references, criminal record checks, and drug testing
- Experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
- Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process
- Knowledge in Allen Bradley Control Logic PLC/Remote IO, Power flex 755 VFD, Kinetix 5700 servo systems
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley MCC
- Knowledge of 24
VDC control and sensor troubleshooting - Using HMI as the main troubleshooting tool
- Self‑motivated and a self‑starter
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
