Job Description
This position requires work on highly specialized equipment, installing and maintaining electrical/electronic devices, measuring and controlling instrumentation, and plant process control systems associated with pumping and booster stations, as well as water and wastewater plants.
Responsibilities- Provide training and technical support to employees.
- Direct employees in the proper repair/replacement of equipment.
- Trouble‑shoot equipment to determine the cause of any problems.
- Make accurate and timely decisions with respect to repairs and/or replacements.
- May also act as a liaison between the department and on‑site contractors.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of trades experience.
- Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Four years of trades experience.
- Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Five years of progressively responsible trades experience, some of which is in a supervisory capacity.
- Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
Job Requirements
- This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre‑employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
- This job may require on‑call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
