SCA Electronic Maintenance Technician 1 with Security Clearance

Chipton-Ross is seeking an SCA Electronic Maintenance Technician 1s for a contract opportunity in Warner Robins, GA.
* These positions are Service Contract Act positions.
** BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* Associates Degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience

* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

* Must be able to work various shifts.

* Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

* Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM) or similar test equipment

* Self-starter with ability to work with little to no supervision.

* Ability to recognize basic electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.

* Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions and other process documents.

* Work well in a team environment.

* Able to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Fabricates, assembles, and disassembles electronic subassemblies.

* Wiring circuits, replacing components, and repairing electronic assemblies

* Performs routine electronic preventative maintenance on special test equipment (STE) and test stations.

* Performs test readings using several different instruments, including Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Curve Tracers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators and Digital Multimeters.

* Troubleshoot to component level to determine cause and remedy for malfunction.

* Conducts routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing.

* Performs calibration checks on electronic instruments.

* Using practical electronic theory and basic tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment

* Experience testing and troubleshooting RF assemblies and sub-assemblies

* Testing and tuning microwave assemblies.

* Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems

* Soldering experience or familiarization

* Have a current Secret DoD clearance REQUIRED EDUCATION Associates Degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position is required. School must be accredited. WORK HOURS 9/80 workweek. Monday-Friday - 3:00 pm - 12:30 am SCA Benefits: HEALTH & WELFARE EO 13706: $5.09 per hour, up to 40 hours per week, or $203.60 per week, or $882.27 per month
* * This rate is to be used only when compensating employees for performance on an SCA- covered contract also covered by EO 13706, Establishing Paid Sick Leave for Federal
Contractors. A contractor may not receive credit toward its SCA obligations for any paid sick leave provided pursuant to EO 13706. VACATION: 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of service with a contractor or successor; 3 weeks after 8 years, and 4 weeks after 20 years. Length of service includes the whole span of continuous service with the present contractor or successor, wherever employed, and with the predecessor contractors in the performance of similar work at the same Federal facility.

New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth National Independence Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
