The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial facilities. This role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and performing preventive maintenance to optimize system performance. The Technician collaborates with management and team members to deliver quality service, supports operational needs including on-call duties, and adheres to company policies and standards.

The Walmart Refrigeration/HVAC Technician team ensures the efficient operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across multiple facilities. Team members conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs to maintain equipment reliability and safety. They collaborate with management and external partners to support maintenance schedules and regulatory compliance. • Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics, ensuring compliance with building codes and operational specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in commercial and industrial systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, walk-ins, reach-ins, and rack systems to minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections and service activities following OSHA standards and EPA refrigerant handling protocols.
• Lead and mentor field teams, providing technical guidance and promoting safety practices.
• Manage service calls, coordinate with external providers, and maintain accurate documentation and inventory.
• Operate company vehicles safely to complete service assignments within assigned regions.

• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial settings.
