A rapidly growing commodities trading firm is expanding its global analytics platform — fueled by the rich data generated by an in-house, end-to-end trading system as well as external datasets — and is looking for an exceptional Full Stack Developer to help deliver on that mission.

This role interfaces directly with the business, ranging from tank operators to top management, to drive requirements and deliver a wide range of capabilities. As a member of the analytics team in Houston, the developer will work on exciting, diverse projects including GIS-based systems and commodity fundamentals trading tools.

• Collaborate directly with the business to design and implement scalable systems with a high degree of autonomy, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Build new analytics platforms for traders, analysts, researchers, and data scientists
• Partner with the business to identify requirements and develop innovative solutions that directly influence the firm's commercial decisions
• Work with a global team to create and maintain a variety of internal applications and data streams
• Turn user feedback into actionable design improvements and bug fixes
• Implement clean, well‑documented, tested, and extensible code to satisfy business requirements
• Provide business application support and training to users on day‑to‑day issues

• 4+ years' experience with C# and related .NET technologies in global enterprise solutions, preferably including ASP.NET Core and Web APIs
• 4+ years working with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• 4+ years with C#/.NET and React
• Commodities / Oil & Gas background — specifically working alongside commercial teams (Traders, Operators, Charterers, CAs, Research Analysts)
• University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent field
• Awareness of continuous integration and delivery concepts and technologies
• Proficiency in translating requirements from a non-technical audience into fully end-to-end solutions
• A keen eye for detail and great pride in the finished product
• Proactive and user-focused, with a can-do attitude and genuine interest in both the functional and technical sides of each challenge
• Self‑motivated, able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• 4+ years in front‑end development, preferably web (React / Type Script)
• Excellent UI‑building skills and a perfectionist approach to styling/CSS
• Experience with GraphQL or gRPC
• Experience with Reactive Extensions (RX)
• A passion and appreciation for UI/UX and creating the best possible user experience
• Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry
