Managing MongoDB Enterprise Advanced instances remotely, the full-time MongoDB Engineer & Administrator will oversee performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management for mission-critical applications in a cloud environment.
Key responsibilities- Administer all MongoDB Enterprise Advanced instances across production, staging, and sandbox environments
- Implement and maintain MongoDB backup policies and ensure optimal performance through query optimization and capacity planning
- Coordinate with security teams to conduct vulnerability scans and manage secrets through Hashi Corp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 3 years of experience administering MongoDB Enterprise Advanced in production cloud environments
- MongoDB Certified DBA Associate (preferred)
- Experience with MongoDB security, including encryption and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Familiarity with containerized environments, particularly Kubernetes/EKS
