Sr. Mainframe Developer with Assembler
Cincinnati, OH
Contract
Need candidate who can work onsite from Day 1 (5 days onsite a week)
Mandatory Skills- Assembler, COBOL, DB2 & SAS
- 09+ years experience on Mainframe with JCL, COBOL, VSAM & DB2 skills
- Senior Developer experience on Mainframe
- Good exposure and understanding of Assembler Language Mainframe
- Good exposure and knowledge on Banking & finance domain & ability to deliver high-quality work
- Project experience in Support services
- Skill in programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and SQL, SAS with solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong hands‑on experience with IBM product tools & contributing to efficient development, debugging, and support activities in mainframe environments
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with modernizing legacy mainframe applications is a plus
- Demonstrating functional knowledge while effectively guiding team members
- Proficient in conducting team meetings and fostering collaboration to ensure smooth project execution
