Job Summary
Crete Carrier offers a dedicated weekly home time hauling for Costco.
We need more safe, experienced drivers to meet the needs of our customers. Crete, Shaffer, and Hunt drivers are paid based on practical miles, allowing 3‑5% more total miles per year than companies that pay based on short‑route miles.
Compensation & Pay- Salary:
Top 50% average $75,087 per year - CPM:
Starting pay $.55 to $.58 per mile - Practical miles: 3‑5% higher per year than short‑route companies
- Top 50% OTR drivers average more than $101,176 annually ($1,945 per week)
- Profit‑sharing plan contributed $11.5 million in 2025 and more than $103 million to employee retirement accounts since 2018
- Comprehensive and affordable health insurance (BCBS of Nebraska)
- Dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) matching and profit‑sharing program
- One‑year verifiable tractor‑trailer experience
- Class A CDL
