2nd Shift Lead
- Parcel Operations (Monday
- Friday)
Manage warehouse and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational, personnel, and safety policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant parcel operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee receiving, warehouse, parcel, and distribution operations.
- Manage daily parcel shipping operations, including Fed Ex, UPS, and other small package carriers.
- Ensure timely processing, sorting, scanning, and shipment of parcel orders while meeting service level requirements.
- Maintain warehouse staff by motivating, training, developing, and supervising team members and supervisors.
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and service metrics and provide regular operational reports.
- Position will require flexibility
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency regarding safety training, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, and parcel operations required.
- Strong knowledge of parcel shipping processes, including Fed Ex and UPS systems and procedures.
- Proficient in the use of computers, handheld scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to generate, analyze, and distribute operational reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to send professional emails and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership experience in supervising, training, and developing warehouse associates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
