Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time Sales Associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The associate partners with the store staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, greets, engages, and processes sales, loans, and other transactions.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Performs non‑management open and close procedures.
• Makes the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items following company policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partnership with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Completes the assigned training and other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and hold firearms certification.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math calculation proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.

• Base hourly wage: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour.
• Commission: up to 8% on transactions.

• Best working hours: most stores open 9 AM‑6 PM; many stores closed on Sundays.
