The Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative is now accepting applications for an Assistant LEA Supervisor to serve the Warren, Hermitage, and Woodlawn School Districts.
Qualifications / Licensure- Arkansas Special Education Instructional Specialist License
- Licensed Educational Evaluator
- Willing to obtain the following licensure if not already obtained:
- Arkansas Program Administration Special Education P-12 License
- 3–5 years of experience as a special education teacher or building administrator
- 3–5 years of experience as an LEA Supervisor or Assistant LEA Supervisor
- Experience as a licensed Educational Evaluator
- Demonstrated experience working across all grade levels, including Early Childhood
- Experience with due process paperwork, timelines, annual reviews, and interpretation of test results for students with disabilities
- Strong, clear oral communication skills with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
- Excellent writing skills
- Extensive knowledge of identification, evaluation, and due process for students with disabilities
This is a 200-day position and the calendar will be built based on all three district calendars. Each week will be split with 3 days at Warren School District and one day at Woodlawn and one day at Hermitage.
