Job Title:
Order Entry/Invoicing Specialist
This position supports all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accurate invoicing. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, maintain precise documentation, and facilitate smooth operations. The role is primarily based in the front office where the candidate will log parts as trucks arrive and depart, and update customers on parts via email. Interaction with the plant floor is limited to locating shipments for customers and providing accurate ETAs.
Heavy use of Microsoft Office, email, and Visual Shop ERP for invoicing and order entry is required.
- Tag all incoming and outgoing parts and shipments, ensuring accurate setup in Visual Shop for precise invoicing.
- Complete daily invoicing for all shipments.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Handle ordering of supplies and materials.
- Manage third‑party billing processes.
- Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Billing and inventory count experience, including invoice processing.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and shipping processes preferred.
- Strong data entry skills and billing knowledge.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
