Business Analyst #1053219
Position overview and daily responsibilities center on supporting export order fulfillment, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and driving timely resolution of order-related issues in export markets.
Responsibilities- Single point of contact for assigned accounts, interfacing with subsidiaries, North America Export Operations, Logistics, suppliers, subject matter experts, and dealers/distributors in export markets.
- Coordinate with Export Operations Managers on order-to-delivery issues.
- Assist in resolving current issues, provide solutions that benefit both the company and customers, and promote best practices.
- Track all export orders from Order-to-Delivery (OTD).
- Inform and follow up with export customers on order entry issues, rejects, changes (options, ship-to, cancellations where applicable).
- Track and update MVB (Manufacturing Validation Build) status weekly.
- Follow up with logistics, finance, export product managers, MVB coordinators, and markets on changes affecting product launches in export markets.
- Highlight issues to Export Operations Manager on a weekly basis.
- Prepare manual invoices for MVBs if needed.
- Coordinate with DF Young on logistics and financial transactions (credit & rebill, reconsignments, special moves).
- Generate, analyze, and review weekly reports on order issues with Export Operations Manager (e.g., blocked production, TPW issues, delays, and logistics handoffs).
- Follow up with offshore plants on issues that affect event flow from systems to various platforms for MVBs and regular production orders.
- Participate in monthly calls with markets on demand submission and logistics, alongside Export Operations Manager.
- Create OWB user IDs for export dealers and coordinate system access (Vlogistics tool) and resolve export customer issues related to OWB delivery reporting with IT.
- Support logistics team on shipment queries by coordinating with port processors and DFY team.
- Learn and execute ad hoc reports in systems like VOMS, POMS, VTIMS, Vlogistics Tool, etc.
- Provide vacation coverage for team members on critical tasks; adapt to multiple tasks; act in a solution-oriented and collaborative manner.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on identifying key issues and root causes.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to interact with customers via email and phone.
- Understanding of diverse customer needs across various countries.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities through systems such as VOM, ORDER WORKBENCH, POMS, VTIMS, BARS, V-Logistics, and related platforms.
- Experience with export order fulfillment processes and collaboration with export managers to resolve order issues.
- Prefer candidates who have worked with/for DF Young before.
