Our main corporate offices are located in Novi, Michigan. However, we are highly flexible! We are open to basing this position at any of our plant locations if it fits your residency:

Mission

Ensure full regulatory compliance and operational efficiency for our U.S. and Canada trade operations. You will expedite imports/exports, optimize costs, and mitigate risks from legislative changes while providing expert advisory to our internal teams.

Essential Functions
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Oversee CBP requirements, the Reasonable Care Program, and BONDS.
  • USMCA Leadership:
    Conduct impact analysis of regulatory changes and lead U.S. origin campaigns.
  • Broker Management:
    Oversee customs brokers, track KPIs, and manage invoicing processes.
  • Digital Portals:
    Manage ACE reporting, ACH accounts, and Canada's CARM portal.
  • Volume Support:
    Provide daily operational follow-up for ~530 U.S. & Canada monthly operations.
  • Internal Advisory:
    Guide internal departments on foreign trade rules and solutions.
Technical Skills
  • Experience:

    5+ years in U.S. customs operations and USMCA legislation.
  • Compliance Expert:
    Deep domain in CBP requirements and Reasonable Care programs.
  • Systems:
    Advanced knowledge of ACE (U.S.) and CARM (Canada) portals.
  • Trade Rules:
    Strong command of Foreign Trade Agreements and Rules of Origin.
  • Data:
    Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
Job Profile
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or related fields.
  • Mindset:
    Strong analytical, decision‑making, and service‑oriented skills.
  • Work Style:
    Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple fast‑moving priorities.
  • Languages:

    Fluent English (Required) and Basic Spanish (Highly Valued).
